Happy Chinese New Year

2012 Year of the Water Dragon

Chinese New Year is about to arrive.  We wish everyone a good holiday filled with luck and fortune for the New Year, the Year of the Water Dragon.

We will be holding a special ceremony at the temple for the New Year to help remove obstacles and hindrances which can be affected by “Tai’Sui”.  Tai’Sui is the title of the immortal who commands the year.  On the eve of Chinese New Year, the Lohan Spiritual and Cultural Center will hold a “Thousand Light Dharma Rite” for those who have the wishes to “Pacify the Year” (An Tai Sui).  For those born in the year of the Dog, Dragon, Sheep/Goat and Ox, it can be a problematic year.  The “An Tai Sui” Ceremony will help remove difficulties, obstacles and possible disasters of the new year.

An Tai Sui & Thousand Light Dharma Rites:
Sunday, January 22nd, 2011 5:00 pm
Lohan Spiritual and Cultural Center
3850 Schiff Drive
Las Vegas, NV 89103

If you would like your name included on the Altar to receive blessings and good luck, please write your full name, dharma name, and birth date on a slip of paper and place it in a red envelope.

Everyone is welcome to come and watch or participate in the ceremony. If you have any questions, feel free to talk to any of the Priests.
